Project of the Month
Spotlighting Standout Architectural Photography Projects
Each month I highlight a project that stood out — whether for its design, craftsmanship, or the way it came together on camera. It’s a chance to showcase the work of talented architects, builders, and designers across Boston and New England, and to share the images that capture the story of their projects
December 2025 - East Boston Residence
This South Boston renovation brings new life to an 1860s home through thoughtful design by Pitman and Wardley Architects and careful craftsmanship by Foley Custom Builders. Working in one of the tightest neighborhoods in Boston, the team transformed the property into a calm, achromatic family home with a marble filled kitchen, bold kids rooms, a serene primary suite, and a smooth indoor to outdoor connection. It is a modern urban retreat that blends historic character with elevated residential design for today’s Boston families.
November 2025 - Gloucester Residence
A Gloucester basement that used to feel like a parking garage is now the family’s favorite hangout spot. A sunken golf simulator, a full game room, a warm walnut bar, and a few unexpected touches turned this lower level into a place where everyone actually wants to spend time.
October 2025 - Acton Residence
A complete design-build transformation in Acton, Massachusetts, by Thomas Buckborough & Associates turned a traditional home into a modern farmhouse retreat. Features include a side-entry layout, cathedral ceilings, smart lighting, a marble wet room, sculptor’s studio with gym above, and resort-style outdoor living with pool, kitchen, sauna, and Barkitecture for two German shepherds.
September 2025 - N. Attleborough Residence
A serene blend of classic and modern design, this award-winning bathroom pairs soft blue walls with warm wood accents and luxe brass details. Every element was crafted to create a spa-like retreat at home.
